About Mechanical Engineering. |
|
The
College has started offering courses in Mechanical Engineering from 2009.
Already the facilities required for class rooms and labs are in place. The
equipment's required for all semesters Foundry, Forging & Material
Testing labs have been procured. The equipment's for the other labs of every
semester have already established.
The
facilities in the basic workshop have been expanded. New facilities have been
provided for computers Aided Drawings.
New
Teaching staffs have been recruited in view of the starting of Mechanical
Engineering branch.
The
Mechanical Engineering Department offers teaching in the Basic subject
Elements of Mechanical and trains the students in Computer Aided Engineering
Drawing.
The
works regarding the establishment of different laboratories is going on in
full swing. The Mechanical Engineering department is committed to
continuously improve the quality of education by enhancing the knowledge of
student and staff members.
The
department of Mechanical Engineering with highly qualified staff is well
equipped with centralized laboratories having the latest configurations and
software tools. The department presents a unique opportunity to study the
exciting field with guidance of quality teachers.

Vision |
|
To
produce professionally competent, socially sensitive, motivated, honest and
dedicated mechanical engineers capable of working in multicultural global
environment.
|
|
Mission |
|
Educating
the students who are, would be "leaders of tomorrow" in academia,
government, industry and entrepreneurial pursuit, through a well designed
rigorous curriculum of theory and practical’s that develops the ability to
solve problems related to mechanical engineering, individually and in teams.
To
develop knowledge of fundamental principles and innovative technologies
through research within core areas of mechanical engineering and in
collaboration with other disciplines that is distinguished by its impact on
academic, industry and society.
To
create deep awareness of ethical responsibilities towards the profession and
society at local, national and international levels. The Mechanical Engineering department is
committed to continuously improve the quality of education by enhancing the
knowledge of student and staff members.
